Started to learn dance at the age of five. The first Guru was Sri. Sylendran — the celebrated South Indian Choreographer and Dancer, disciple of Chitra Visweswaran (Chennai), and Director of Chidambaram Bharata Natya Institute.
Subsequently learnt Mohiniyattam under the tutelage of Kalamandalam Hymavathi and Kalamandalam Vimala Menon. Later, learnt Kerala Nadanam under doyens such as Guru Sreshta Anchal K Sivanandan Nair, Joy R Nath, Dr. Kalamandalam Raji Subin, Dr. Joy Krishnan, Kavitha Pradeep, and Vineetha.
Studied Ottan Thullal under the guidance of Kalamandalam Geethanandan Master, and Kathakali from the legendary Nelliyodu Vasudevan Namboothiri.
Currently learning Mohiniyattam from Kalaimamani Gopika Varma, Bharathanatyam from Kalakshethra Saran Mohan, and Kathakali from Nelliyodu Vishnu Namboothiri — a continuous journey of learning, dedication and devotion to the classical arts.
